Stockholm Concert Hall turns 100 on 7 April 2026, marked by five luminous days of music, exhibitions, talks and dance that open the building to all.
At the heart of the festivities are ceremonial concerts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, where Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony – performed at the 1926 inauguration – returns alongside a newly commissioned cello concerto by Tebogo Monnakgotla.
The jubilee affirms Konserthuset as a distinctly democratic cultural salon in the city, uniting a century of musical history, Swedish Grace architecture and timeless design with the promise of many more years beneath its iconic blue façade.
