Uno Åhrén
Swedish Grace
Swedish architect, city planner, and designer, recognised as one of the foremost advocates of functionalism in Sweden. Educated at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Åhrén’s early career included significant collaborations, such as with Estrid Ericson’s Svenskt Tenn, where he designed interiors and furniture that blended modernist ideals with Swedish craftsmanship. His work won international acclaim, including a gold medal at the 1925 Paris Exposition.
